2024-2025 Community Impact

Our St. Vincent de Paul Community Impact Annual Report reflects a year of compassionate service, neighbor-to-neighbor support, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the dignity of every person we encounter. Guided by our mission, our volunteers and supporters worked tirelessly to provide food, clothing, housing assistance, and hope to individuals and families facing hardship. This year’s report highlights not only the measurable outcomes of our programs but also the countless moments of human connection that define our ministry. Together, we continue to strengthen our community by extending kindness, fostering stability, and walking alongside those in need with humility and respect.

Why "New, Gently Used, and Working Matters

St. Vincent de Paul of Washington County has announced a reinforced donation policy aimed at improving safety, reducing disposal costs, and ensuring donated items can best support the organization’s mission of serving local individuals and families in need. The updated guidelines emphasize the importance of donating items that are clean, gently used, and in working condition while outlining certain items that cannot be accepted due to safety, environmental, or operational concerns.
The reinforced policy helps protect staff, volunteers, and customers, supports responsible recycling and disposal practices, and allows more resources to be directed toward community assistance programs that serve more than 5,000 people each year.
